The 2004 Strawberry Jam'n Toast To The Arts will feature its second Motorcycle Poker Run.  Last year's event hosted over 80 bikes who rode to support local arts

This year's event will start at the Alligator Stage between the hours of 8-10AM on Saturday March 20, 2004.  The ride will go all of the way from Ponchatoula to Hancock Bank on Hwy. 16 in Watson, LA.  The ride will then go to the Harley Davidson Shop of Baton Rouge where lunch will be provided for all of the riders.  The next stop will be at the Hancock Bank on Hwy. 22 in Springfield, LA.  The final stop will be at the Ochsner Stage at the festival in Downtown Ponchatoula.  All bikes must be back by 4PM.  At 5PM, on the Ochsner Stage, a grand prize of $250.00 will be given to the best hand and a prize of $150.00 will be given to the person with the second best hand.  $100.00 will be given to the person with the worst hand.  Registrants will receive an official Strawberry Jam Poker Run Pin.  Entry fees will be $25.00 per bike and all proceeds will go to the Northshore Regional Endowment For The Arts.  To register, contact Dutch Battle at 985-386-3511 or Patty Hubert at 985-386-8200.
