The 2005 festival poster was drawn by Ponchatoula High School student, Ms. Meghan Ory. She is a senior at PHS and is in the Level VI art class that is taught by veteran art teacher, Mrs. Kim Zabbia. Meghan describes her poster as trying to depict the musician as being "plugged into the city" while also receiving energy from Downtown Ponchatoula. The committee that chose this as the winning poster felt that this captured the essence of the Strawberry Jam'n Toast To The Arts. That is, that the city and its citizens spark an energy into regional musicians and artists to display their talent at "The Jam" each year. The bassist depicted in this poster, Charles Cercy of the band named Zync, was honored at the unveiling of the poster.
Kim Zabbia (PHS Art instructor) Megan Ory (Senior Art student and winning designer of this year’s poster), Charles Cercy of the band Zync (featured musician on the poster), and Dr. Ted Hudspeth (founder and organizer of the Jam.)
