Christopher Guillot is the 9 year old son of Dr. Thomas and Lynn Guillot. He is a
fourth grader at Baton Rouge Center for the Visual and Performing Arts. He is a
WEBELO 1 cubscout in Den 8 Pack 14 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
When he was a few months old he would grab at guitars, try to play them with his left
hand, and one of his first words was Aguitar.
In October of 2001 he played his electric left handed guitar for the third grade play at
school. He began learning many songs on guitar by listening to CD's and from chord
structures taught by his father.
In February 2002, he wanted to benefit the Capitol Area Animal Welfare Society and he
played guitar and sang at the Krewe of Mutts parade. He donated all of his earnings to
CAAWS.
In March 2002 , he played at the University Club for the St. Luke's Golf Tournament to
benefit their Honduran Mission.
In April 2002, he played in the French Quarter in New Orleans and donated his earnings to
the Bishop Ott Shelter. He also played at the St. Luke's talent show that month.
On Labor Day weekend, he played in Gulf Shores , Alabama with several hundred people
present for the festivities.
In September 2002, he played at the HAMMONDFEST2002.
On October 14 he performed live -singing and playing guitar on the WVLA 33 morning show.
On October 20 he performed live on radio at the Centenary College in Shreveport ,
Louisiana.
On Christmas day 2002, he played an original composition Do you believe in Christmas? on
television in Baton Rouge.
In December 2002 he played on stage at Swamp Mamas a blues club in Baton Rouge.
On February 23, he played at the Krewe of Mutts and raised $ 112.00 for CAAWS.
The proceeds from his demo CD I NEED YOU has resulted in a donation of $257.00 to the St.
Luke's Building Fund.
He sings and plays left handed guitar, bass, piano, trumpet, harmonica, and drums. He has
written several orginal songs and is working on his second CD.
