The Guttersharks consist of four musicians and an ex-smoker. In random order they are named Mundy Houston, James Slaughter, Ronnie Nolan, Dennis Allison, and Trey Kemp. The collective experience of the band can probably only be counted in dog years since they have played in many different groups. To quote one of them, "this ain't no act baby." What they do: College rock/80's music is the quick way to pigeonhole them, but they also play some Top 40, dance, and the occasional drunken country sing-a-long. Available for club dates, private parties, after-game parties, and yes weddings. Basically the same sweet gigs that the "Wedding Singer" played. For booking contact Mundy Who Does What: Mundy Houstonplays drums, keeps the machine in working order, books gigs, and has become a singer in his own right over the years. Dreams of playing guitar in the band, but he "made that decision a long time ago" to play drums. Ronnie Nolana.k.a. Family Man. Sings occasionally, plays the Waltons theme song, also enjoys quitting bands. Hobbies include getting beat-up or ignored in internet chat rooms. (Ronnie didn't write this.) Trey Kempa.k.a. Travis, Matt, Troy, Scarecrow, the red-headed stepchild or any other name you can attach to a forgettable face. Attempts to play guitar and sing. Thinks his jokes are funny. James Slaughterbass player extraordinaire. Likes "Comics." Hobbies include shaving his head. Dennis Allisona.k.a. Clovis Crawfish, Debbie Gibson's little brother. Thinks the bass guitar is much cooler than the keyboard, but the band is still sticking him on the keyboard. He still sings though. |
