Being a Sagitarian, I have always had a special bond with nature and animals.

Three years after graduating from the University of Florida, I relocated to Boulder, Colorado. Over the twenty years of residing in Boulder, I enrolled in quilting, basket weaving and watercolor classes.cat-for-web.jpg (41930 bytes)

The summer of 1997, 1 returned to my roots in Louisiana. I am a member of the Hammond Regional Art Center, active in the Hammond Art Guild and currently serving as Treasurer of that organization.

My artistic style has evolved through different phases. The common thread has always been color, pattern and design. My recent paintings have centered around animals that bring out humor and light-heartedness in those that view them.
