My tastes in music lay somewhere between a Rachel Lampa sound and an Alicia Keys sound. I also love hip-hop and R & B.

I have a younger sister who fives at home in Louisiana with my parents and I have an older brother who fives in Oregon. I am presently a 19-year-old college student enrolled at Louisiana State University where I am majoring in Mass Communications. I am a member of the gospel choir and ladies choir.

Music has been a love of mine since the 5th Grade in school. My dad went out and bought me a used clarinet because he was not sure if I would stick with it. Well, the music bug bit me and I loved it. Music will always be a part of my fife.

About 6 years ago, I began singing to the radio. Over and over again, I would belt out tunes to the radio using a hairbrush for my microphone and my stuffed animals for my audience. My voice began to develop, and soon I was sounding pretty good. Each time I would get together with my friends, they would have me sing for them.

During my senior year in High School, my friends convinced me to sing the Star Spangled Banner at our High School football game. Of course, my mom and dad had to be up front with their video camera. They took this video and copied it for my grandmother. My grandmother had to show it to all of my relatives. My cousin saw this video and immediately called me to ask me to sing at her upcoming wedding. That wedding engagement has led to many more requests.

I received my first singing lesson from a voice coach last year. I recently completed a demo tape consisting of three original songs and produced by Wayne Baird in Nashville.

I will always love music and I have an enormous respect for all of the artists whom have chosen this path in life. I hope to some day be able to live my life through this art.
