Biography of Orbit
Orbit is basically the core members of the Chris Daniels' Project, Chris Daniels, Ritchie Fournet and Aaron Hill. The CDP formed in mid 1999 when Chris and Aaron began jamming on various song structures which Chris had been working on. Chris then invited Ritchie Fournet to come in on bass, Chris Zimmer on additional guitar, and Chris Tucker on vocals. They played around Hammond occasionally and continued writing new music. The CDP is still around today, but for the past couple of months everyone has been doing other things and getting themselves organized. They should re-emerge somewhere in 2002 to showcase their prowess. The name Orbit came from a quick conversation between Chris D. and Witon Wall. Chris wanted to change the name so among others, Wilton suggested "Orbit." "Orbit" has only played one gig-the first Strawberry Jam'n Toast To The Arts, and after the second Strawberry Jam they will more than likely drop the name. |
